WORK AREA
Keep your work area clean and well lit. Clutteredbenches
anddarkareasinviteaccidents.
Do not operate portable fans in explosive atmospheres,
such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or

or fumes.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
A battery operated portable fan with integral batteries or
a separate battery pack must be recharged only with the
specified charger for the battery. Achargerthatmaybe
suitableforonetypeofbatterymaycreateariskoffirewhen
usedwithanotherbattery.
Use battery operated portable fan only with specifically
designated battery pack. Useofanyotherbatteriesmay
create a risk of fire.
Use this product only with batteries and chargers listed
in tool/appliance/battery pack/charger correlation
supplement 995000850.
Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or
grounding-type plug. Apolarizedplughastwoblades
with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug
hastwobladesandathirdgroundingprong.Thewide
bladeorthethirdprongareprovidedforyoursafety.If
theprovidedplugdoesnotfitintoyouroutlet,consultan
electricianforreplacementoftheobsoleteoutlet.
Protect the power cord from being walked on
or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience
receptacles, and the point where they exit from the
product.
Unplug this product during lightning storms or when
when not in use.

Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry.
Contain long hair. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves
away from moving parts. Looseclothes, jewelry,orlong

Avoid accidental starting. Be sure dial is in the off position
before inserting battery pack. Carryingportablefanswith
yourfinger onthe dial orinserting the batterypack into a
portablefanwiththedialoninvitesaccidents.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at
all times. Properfootingandbalanceenablebettercontrol
oftheportablefaninunexpectedsituations.

Do not use on a ladder or unstable support. Stable footing

HYBRID FAN USE AND CARE
Do not use portable fan if dial does not turn it on or off.
A portable fan that cannot be controlled with the dial is
dangerousandmustberepaired.
Disconnect battery pack or extension cord from
portable fan or place the dial in the off position before
making any adjustments, changing accessories,
or storing the portable fan. Such preventive safety
measures reduce the risk of starting the portable fan
accidentally.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other
metal objects like: paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws,
or other small metal objects that can make a connection
from one terminal to another.Shortingthebatteryterminals
togethermaycausesparks,burns,orafire.
Keep the portable fan and its handle dry, clean and free
from oil and grease. Alwaysuseacleanclothwhencleaning.
Neverusebrakefluids,gasoline,petroleum-basedproducts,
oranystrongsolventstocleanyourportablefan.Following
thisrulewillreducetheriskoflossofcontrolanddeterioration
oftheenclosureplastic.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use this fan
near water.
Clean only with dry cloth.
Do not operate near any heat sources such as radiators,
heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including
amplifiers) that produce heat.
BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE
Recharge only with the charger specified by the
manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of
batterypackmaycreateariskoffirewhenusedwithanother
batterypack.
Use power tools only with specifically designated battery

injuryandfire.

Do not use a battery pack or tool that is damaged or
modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit
unpredictablebehaviorresultinginfire,explosionorriskof
injury.
