WORK AREA
Keep your work area clean and well lit. Clutteredbenches
anddarkareasinviteaccidents.
Do not operate portable fans in explosive atmospheres,
such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or

or fumes.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
A battery operated portable fan with integral batteries or
a separate battery pack must be recharged only with the
specified charger for the battery. Achargerthatmaybe
suitableforonetypeofbatterymaycreateariskoffirewhen
usedwithanotherbattery.
Use battery operated portable fan only with specifically
designated battery pack. Useofanyotherbatteriesmay
create a risk of fire.
Use this product only with batteries and chargers listed
in tool/appliance/battery pack/charger correlation
supplement 995000850.
Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or
grounding-type plug. Apolarizedplughastwoblades
with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug
hastwobladesandathirdgroundingprong.Thewide
bladeorthethirdprongareprovidedforyoursafety.If
theprovidedplugdoesnotfitintoyouroutlet,consultan
electricianforreplacementoftheobsoleteoutlet.
Protect the power cord from being walked on
or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience
receptacles, and the point where they exit from the
product.
Unplug this product during lightning storms or when
when not in use.
PERSONAL SAFETY
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry.
Contain long hair. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves
away from moving parts. Looseclothes, jewelry,orlong

Avoid accidental starting. Be sure dial is in the off position
before inserting battery pack. Carryingportablefanswith
yourfinger onthe dial orinserting the batterypack into a
portablefanwiththedialoninvitesaccidents.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at
all times. Properfootingandbalanceenablebettercontrol
oftheportablefaninunexpectedsituations.

Do not use on a ladder or unstable support. Stable footing

HYBRID FAN USE AND CARE
Do not use portable fan if dial does not turn it on or off.
A portable fan that cannot be controlled with the dial is
dangerousandmustberepaired.
Disconnect battery pack or extension cord from
portable fan or place the dial in the off position before
making any adjustments, changing accessories,
or storing the portable fan. Such preventive safety
measures reduce the risk of starting the portable fan
accidentally.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other
metal objects like: paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws,
or other small metal objects that can make a connection
from one terminal to another.Shortingthebatteryterminals
togethermaycausesparks,burns,orafire.
Keep the portable fan and its handle dry, clean and free
from oil and grease. Alwaysuseacleanclothwhencleaning.
Neverusebrakefluids,gasoline,petroleum-basedproducts,
oranystrongsolventstocleanyourportablefan.Following
thisrulewillreducetheriskoflossofcontrolanddeterioration
oftheenclosureplastic.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use this fan
near water.
Clean only with dry cloth.
Do not operate near any heat sources such as radiators,
heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including
amplifiers) that produce heat.
BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE
Recharge only with the charger specified by the
manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of
batterypackmaycreateariskoffirewhenusedwithanother
batterypack.
Use power tools only with specifically designated battery
packs. Useofanyotherbatterypacksmaycreateariskof
injuryandfire.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other

Do not use a battery pack or tool that is damaged or
modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit
unpredictablebehaviorresultinginfire,explosionorriskof
injury.
