* The corresponding seat belt extender is malfunctioning.

Slide the seat belt extender back into its original position manually.

If the malfunction occurs again, consult a qualified specialist workshop.
Front passenger airbag dis-

* The front passenger airbag has been disabled even though an adult or a person with an adult stature is on the front
passenger seat. If additional forces are applied to the seat, the weight the system detects may be too low.

WARNING ‑ Risk of injury or even fatal injury when the front passenger airbag is disabled
If the front passenger airbag is disabled, It will not be deployed in the event of an accident and cannot perform
its intended protective function.
A person in the front passenger seat could then, for example, come into contact with the vehicle interior, espe‐
cially if the person is sitting too close to the dashboard.

Be aware of the status of the front passenger airbag both before and during the journey.
#
Stop the vehicle immediately in accordance with the traffic conditions.
#
Check the status of the automatic front passenger airbag actuation (/ page 47).
#
If necessary, consult a qualified specialist workshop immediately.
