Unscrew and close disposable hose 1 and
AdBlue
®
refill canister 2 in reverse order.
#
Replace the AdBlue
®
filler cap and turn it
clockwise.
#
Close the fuel filler flap.
#
Switch on the ignition for at least 60 sec‐
onds.

If the vehicle could not be started as the
AdBlue
®
tank was empty, it can take up to
60 seconds for the refill to be detected.
#
Start the vehicle.
%
Avoid storing AdBlue
®
refill containers per‐
manently in the vehicle.
Parking
Parking the vehicle
&
WARNING Risk of accident and injury
caused by an insufficiently secured vehi‐
cle rolling away.
If the vehicle is not securely parked suffi‐
ciently, it can roll away in an uncontrolled
way even at a slight downhill gradient.

On gradients, turn the front wheels so
that the vehicle will roll towards the
kerb if it starts moving.
#
apply the parking brake.
#
Switch the transmission to position j.

WARNING Risk of fire caused by hot
exhaust system parts
Flammable materials such as leaves, grass or
twigs may ignite.
#
Park the vehicle so that no flammable
material can come into contact with hot
vehicle components.
#
In particular, do not park on dry grass‐
land or harvested grain fields.

WARNING Risk of accident and injury
due to children left unattended in the
vehicle
If children are left unsupervised in the vehi‐
cle, they could, in particular:
R
open doors, thereby endangering other
persons or road users.
R
get out and be struck by oncoming traf‐
fic.
R
operate vehicle equipment and become
trapped, for example.
In addition, the children could also set the
vehicle in motion, for example by:
R
releasing the parking brake.
R
change the transmission position.
R
start the vehicle.

Never leave children unattended in the
vehicle.
