Turn the combination switch to the correct
position 1 - 5.

the combination switch in the direction of
arrow 1.

Vehicles with MAGIC VISION CONTROL: in
position 2 or 3 , the windscreen washing
process is automatically triggered if dirt is detec‐
ted on the windscreen unless the Top up
washer fluid message is being displayed.
Cleaning the windscreen intensively
For heavy soiling, you can clean the windscreen
intensively from an outside temperature of 5°C.

In a stationary vehicle, turn the combination
switch to position 1, 2 or 3.
#
Press the button on the combination switch
in the direction of arrow 1 and hold it for
approximately two seconds.
The wiper arms will move into the replace‐
ment position and washer fluid will be distrib‐
uted on the windscreen.
After approximately 30 seconds, the wiper
arms will move back again and wipe the
windscreen several times. Intensive cleaning
has now finished.
Replacing the windscreen wiper blades

WARNING Risk of becoming trapped if
the windscreen wipers are switched on
while wiper blades are being replaced
If the windscreen wipers begin to move while
you are changing the wiper blades, you can
be trapped by the wiper arm.

Always switch off the windscreen wip‐
ers and ignition before changing the
wiper blades.

Switch the ignition on and switch off again
immediately.
#
Within around 15 seconds, press and hold
the î button on the combination switch
for approximately three seconds
(/ page 152).
The wiper arms will move into the replace‐
ment position.

Fold the wiper arms away from the wind‐
screen.
