WARNING Risk of injury or death due to
incorrect seat position
The seat belt does not offer the intended
level of protection if you have not moved the
backrest to an almost vertical position.
In particular, when you are braking or in the
event of an accident, you could slide under‐
neath the seat belt and sustain abdomen or
neck injuries, for example.
#
Adjust the seat properly before begin‐
ning your journey.
#
Always ensure that the backrest is in an
almost vertical position and that the
shoulder section of your seat belt is
routed across the centre of your shoul‐
der.
*
NOTE Damage to the seats when moving
the seats back
The seats may be damaged by objects when
moving the seats back.
#
When moving the seats back, make
sure that there are no objects in the
footwell, under or behind the seats.
The switches for adjusting the seats do not
move. You will therefore receive no direct feed‐
back on the switch while pressing the switch.
Feedback is provided only by the movement of
the seat.
