Installation Instructions
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before beginning
the
installation, determine your needs, and
if
necessary
consult
the
store where you purchased your faucet
for
valve and adapter
recommendations.
BEFORE
STARTING THE
PROJECT,
SHUT OFF HOT AND COLD WATER
SUPPLIES.
If
you
are
removing
an
existing faucet, remove
the
faucet
from
the
and clean sink thoroughly.

Apply plumber's
putty
on the
bottom
of

the nut up to the

side. Once
it
is aligned, tighten
the
seat
nut
screws.

sink, connect

hose

short outlet tube's end fitting.
Tighten
the
screw
on the
connector. Assemble
the two
halves
of
the balance
weight onto
the
spray hose (see picture
for
placement location). Pull spray
hose
back and
forth
to
check
for
smooth operation.
STEP
C: CONNECTING THE SUPPLY TUBES
The
hot
supply tube
is
indicated
with
a
red mark. Apply thread seal tape
or
pipe
thread compound
to
threads. Attach water supply lines (sold separately)
to
faucet lines and valves. IMPORTANT: Use
a
wrench
to
hold copper faucet
lines
in
place when tightening supply lines. This will help prevent twisting
and kinking. Tighten firmly (careful
not to
over-tighten) until
a
seal
is
achieved.
STEP
D:
FLUSH
AND
CHECK FOR
LEAKS
Turn
on hot
and cold water supplies; check
for
leaks. Remove
the
pull-out spray
head
from
the
hose, Point
the
hose into
the
drain and turn
on the
faucet,
hot
and
cold mixture,
for
1 minute. Re-attach
the
spray head
to
hose. Run water again
and check all connection
for
leaks.
