Telescoping Boat Ladder

Instructions for Part # SP-3S, SP-4S

Grab Rail 2

Tools Required: Drill with 1/4” and 3/16” bits

Installation

1. Position the grab rails on the platform and mark

where holes need to be drilled. Drill 1/4” holes into the

platform. Attach the stainless grab rails to the platform

with two 1/4-20 x 2-1/4” bolts, washers, and 1/4-20

lock nuts. For outboard application, use a single grab

rail with 1/4-20 x 2-1/4” bolt and angle mount with one

1/4-20 x 1-1/4” bolt, washer, and lock nut attached to

the platform.

2. Position the 90° bracket on the platform, mark

holes, and drill with a 1/4” drill bit. Install the bracket

to the platform with two 1/4-20 x 1-1/4” bolts, washers,

and lock nuts. (Outboard application only)

3. Position the platform on the boat and mark the up-

per rail holes. Drill with a 1/4” drill bit.

4. Mount top of rail(s) with 1/4-20 x 2-1/2” bolt, large

ange washer, and lock nut.

5. Position the 90° bracket to boat and drill a 3/16” pi-

lot hole. Install three #14 x 1-1/4” lag bolts. (Outboard

only)

6. Drill 3/16” pilot hole in boat for lower grab rail (or

angle) mount and attach with #14 x 1-1/4” lag bolts.

NOTE: All holes should be sealed with waterproof

sealer.
