Battery Replacement

Replace the rechargeable batteries at least every 12 months.

1. Loosen the Clamps and remove

the Light from the flagpole.

2. Slide the Switch to OFF.

3. Remove the screws. Remove the Solar

Panel Cover from the Battery Housing.

NOTICE: Use care when removing

Solar Panel Cover so as to avoid

pulling on the wire between the

Battery Housing and the Spotlight.

4. Remove and properly recycle old

Batteries. NI-CD BATTERIES MUST

BE RECYCLED OR DISPOSED OF

PROPERLY. Do not short, incinerate

or open batteries.

5. Install two new, fully charged

‘AA’ NiCd batteries, making sure

the follow the indicated polarity.

6. Place the Solar Panel Cover

back onto the Battery Housing,

and attach it with screws.

7. Reinstall the Light onto the flagpole.
