Important Safety Information Installation Precautions 1. Install only according to these instructions. Improper installation can create hazards. 2. Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and heavy-duty work gloves during installation. 3. Keep installation area clean and well lit. 4. Keep bystanders out of the area during installation. 5. Do not install when tired or when under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication. 6. Verify Pole Clamps are securely tightened. Do not use if Clamps are damaged.
Battery Replacement Replace the rechargeable batteries at least every 12 months. 1. Loosen the Clamps and remove the Light from the flagpole. 2. Slide the Switch to OFF. 3. Remove the screws. Remove the Solar Panel Cover from the Battery Housing. NOTICE: Use care when removing Solar Panel Cover so as to avoid pulling on the wire between the Battery Housing and the Spotlight. 4. Remove and properly recycle old Batteries. NI-CD BATTERIES MUST BE RECYCLED OR DISPOSED OF PROPERLY.
