Sizing Instructions
1. Put on your usual walking shoes. Stand as naturally
upright as possible. Let your arms hang to your sides,
keeping a natural slight bend at the elbow.
2. Have someone measure the distance between the crease in
your wrist (on same side as your ‘good’ leg) and the floor.
CAUTION! Cane can spring open suddenly, causing injury.
Use caution when removing from case and unfolding.
3. Unfold the Cane, making sure each section
nests fully within the next.
4. Turn the Lock Ring (located under the Lock Button) to the left.
5. Press in the Lock Button and adjust Cane to
your wrist height, making sure the Lock Button clicks.
6. Turn the Lock Ring to the right to lock the height in place.
Walking
CAUTION! Cane can spring open

1. Unfold the Cane, making sure each
section nests fully within the next.
2. Check the Cane’s rubber tip to verify
that it is tight and secure before use.
3. To start walking, place the cane
a small stride ahead and to the
outside of your good leg.
4. Swing the Cane and your impaired
leg forward at the same time.
5. Finish the step using your good leg.
Climbing Stairs “Up with the good (leg).”
1. Grasp the stairway’s handrail
with your free hand.
2. Step up on your good leg first,
using your cane firmly planted
to provide stability.
3. Then, step up on the
impaired leg and the cane.
Going Down Stairs “Down with the bad (leg).”
1. Grasp the stairway’s handrail
with your free hand.
2. Put your cane on the step first.
3. Then step with your impaired leg.
4. Finally, step with the good leg,
which carries your body weight.
