Backing Pad (41)
Workpiece
Pressing down on the Control Lever
(14) with the palm of your hand starts
the sander. When the sanding pad is
placed at onto the working surface
(see Fig. 3), press down on the Con-
trol Lever (14) to start sanding. Re-
lease pressure on the Control Lever
(14) to stop sanding.
2. Be careful not to apply the sanding
pad onto the workpiece when run-
ning and tilted or the pad will sand a
groove into the workpiece, and also
try to move in the direction of rotation.
This may cause a loss of control of
the tool. (See Fig. 3.)
3. The speed of rotation is controlled by
the Regulator Valve (12)
4. Take a short break every 30 minutes
to avoid injury due to fatigue.
5. Do not allow free rotating at high
speed to avoid possible injury or
damage to the tool.
6. Do not touch the rotating part with
hand or body while operating.
7. If the tool requires more force to
accomplish the task, verify that the
tool receives sufcient, unobstructed
airow (CFM) and increase the
pressure (PSI) output of the regulator
up to the maximum air pressure
rating of this tool.
CAUTION! TO PREVENT TOOL
AND ACCESSORY FAILURE,
RESULTING IN INJURY:
Do not exceed the tool’s maximum
air pressure rating of 90 PSI.
If the tool still does not have sufcient
force at maximum pressure and
sufcient airow, then a larger tool
may be required.
8. To prevent accidents, release the
tool’s Control Lever (14), detach
the air supply, safely discharge any
residual air pressure in the tool. Turn
off and unplug the compressor or air
source used. Clean external surfaces
of the tool with a clean, dry cloth.
Then store the tool indoors out of
children’s reach.
