UNPACKING
When unpacking, check to make sure that the item is intact and undamaged. If any
parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number shown on the
cover of this manual as soon as possible.
COMPONENTS OF THE METER
Clamp Jaw. Also known as the “Amp Clamp” the jaw is used to measure AC
Amperage.
Trigger. Used to open and close the Clamp Jaws for AC Amperage measurement.
Display. LCD Screen with maximum reading value of 1999.
“COM” Jack. The “Common” jack used with the Black (negative) Test Lead.
“Red” Jack. Used with the Red (positive) Test Lead.
