5. For a “COARSE SETTING”, adjust the Trigger’s sensitivity by adjusting the Trigger
Hook (4) all the way, as far as it goes, under the Turning Sleeve (5). See Figure 3 on
page 4 and Figure 4 below. A heavier amount of weight on the Trigger Pan (6) will
be required to pull the Trigger Hook (4) off the Turning Sleeve (5), releasing the Front
Door.
6. For a more “SENSITIVE SETTING”, hook the Trigger Hook (6) on the Turning Sleeve
(5) only with the TIP of the Hook. The weight of a lightweight animal will pull the Trigger
Hook off the Turning Sleeve, thus releasing the front or back Trap Door (2).
7. A pair of pliers (not provided) can reshape the Trigger Hook (6) for any fine adjustment
you may need. Practicing the settings of the Trigger with a pencil or screwdriver (not
provided) on the Trigger Pan (6) and how much pressure is needed for releasing of the
front and/or back Door (2), should give you the desired setting you will need for the
animal you plan to catch. See Figure 5.
8. After adjustment, place the appropriate bait for that animal on the Trigger Pan (6).
