BATTERY CARE AND REPLACEMENT The Roadtrip 100 uses a rechargeable, sealed lead-acid type battery, the same type that is used in automobiles, and many battery backup systems for computer equipment. These batteries are highly reliable and safe, and are approved for air transport as well. Like a car battery, the battery in your RoadTrip can last for years, if used properly. Here are some tips to get the longest battery life.
