CONNECTING TO AN EXTERNAL MONITOR

Connecting to an external monitor

In STILL PICTURE or PLAY mode, you can view the stored pictures or movie clips by

connecting the camera to an external monitor via the movie cable. When the camera is

connected to an external monitor, the LCD monitor will be turned off automatically.

when the camera is connected to a external monitor, the menu will be visible on the

external monitor and the working of the menu is same as the LCD monitor

Selecting the Movie output type

You can select an NTSC or PAL movie output signal, depending on the external

equipment (monitor or TV) that you wish to connect to.

Refer to page 90 [MOVIE OUT] about selecting the movie output from the camera.

Reference

When using a TV as an external monitor, you will need to select the external or AV channel

of the TV.

There will be a digital noise on the external monitor, but it is not malfunction.

If the picture is not in the centre of the screen, use the TV controls to centre it.
