TAKING PHOTOS
Now let's take a picture

To switch on the camera, press the POWER button ( ).

Select the desired mode (Still picture / Night picture/ Movie clip) according to the picture
range or subject by using the mode dial ( ) on the top of the camera.
Macro and Continuous shooting are available in STILL PICTURE mode.

Change the menu by using the camera buttons and LCD monitor and select the
appropriate settings (picture quality, picture size etc.).
Refer to pages 38 ~ 47 for information on camera setting.

Decide the picture composition that you want to achieve by using the optical viewfinder
or the LCD monitor.

When taking pictures, squeeze the shutter button gently to avoid camera shake.
Pressing the shutter button down halfway activates the autofocus and checks the
condition of the flash. Note that releasing the button will de-select the autofocus and
the camera will re-focus when the button is depressed for the second time.
Pressing the shutter down fully takes the picture and stores the relevant data
regarding the shot.
