using the Smart Card interface standard ISO/IEC 7816. R-UIM Specification is TIA/EIA/IS-820 and R-UIM

Addendum1 is TIA/EIA/IS-820-1.

7.6.2 Card connect

1. open the battery & UIM cover under the phone case

2. connect the UIM card as blew

3. put the cover back on after phone connection test

(Before Connect) (After Connect)

NOTE : Turn off the phone whenever you insert or remove UIM card.

1. Press <Menu>, <7> and <7(IP)> in sequence.

2. Press <*(▲)> or <#(▼)> to select <1. Enable/Disable)>

If you selected disable, you can’t use IP function. And If you selected Enable, you can use

IP function.

3. Press <*(▲)> or <#(▼)> to select IP Number, <2. IP No. setup)>

4. Press IP No.(Example 17911 etc.,)

5. Press <Store>

IP(Internet Phone) function is used to only China.
