English Rough In 1 Rough in ½" female fittings, recessed ⅜" behind the surface of the finished wall, for the hot and cold supplies — see the diagrams. The hot supply must be on the left and the cold supply must be on the right. If the supplies are reversed, the themostatic mixing valve cannot function correctly. 2 Installation 1 Wrap the threads on the ball-s connections with Teflon thread tape. Install the connections.

English Use the spacer tool to check the connections for proper distance. 2 Confirm that the connections are level. The front of the connection should be between ⅞" and 1" from the surface of the finished wall. Remove the alignment pins from the covers. 3 Screw them into the connection flanges. 3 Seal the wall around the ball-s connections with waterproof sealant. Failure to seal the wall can lead to possible water damage. 2 1 4 10 Install the escutcheons on the valve.

Remove the riser and the flange. 1 Drill the screw hole with a ¼" bit. 10 Install the anchor.

Failure to seal the wall can lead to possible water damage. ¼" 2 Attach the mounting flange with the screws and washers. Install the escutcheon.

Install the escutcheon and mounting bracket with the screws. Push the handshower holder firmly over the mounting bracket.
