16. ALWAYS allow heating element to cool at least 10 minutes before touching any part of the heater. 17. Do not use near or in the immediate vicinity of a bath or swimming pool or any source of water. Never immerse unit, cord or plug in water or any other liquid. 18. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry rooms and similar indoor locations; never locate the heater where it may fall into a bathtub, sink or other water container. 19. Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use.
INSTALLATION Caution: Keep children and pets away from the heater when in use. Always place heater on a flat, stable surface when in use. Store unit properly to avoid tip over in high winds or inclement weather. Use sandbags on base to provide additional stability.
Step2 – Assemble Heating Unit: Note: This heater has two power settings that can be changed by the switch. Low heat operates at 750W and high heat operates at 1500W. This heater has a tip-over safety function. Once the heater is over a 45° angle, the heater will automatically turn OFF. This heater is for use on a 120 volt, properly grounded circuit only. Please refer to a licensed electrician if your electrical outlet is not a three-receptacle outlet with ground.
MAINTENANCE: Periodic inspection and removal of dirt and contaminants will ensure that the heater can be operated safely.
