• Rinse the electrode with
some pH 10.01 (or pH 9.18)
solution. Dip the bottom 4
cm (1½") of the electrode
in a beaker containing the
third buffer.
• When the CFM indicator starts blinking,
indicating that the electrode has stabilized,
press the ALT and CFM keys to confirm
the third calibration point.
• If the buffer is out of the slope range,
"WRONG " will blink. Press the ALT and
CAL keys simultaneously and recalibrate
the value.
• If you cannot complete the calibration,
check your electrode by following the con-
ditioning and maintenance procedure on
page 30 and repeat the calibration proce-
dure from the beginning with fresh buffers.
The pH electrode might have to be replaced
if calibration cannot still be successfully
performed.
• If everything is satisfactory the calibration
ends and the meter will return to the pH
measurement mode.
