• Rinse the electrode with some of the sec-
ond buffer solution (e.g.
pH 4.01).
Dip the bottom 4 cm (1½")
of the electrode and the
temperature probe into a
beaker containing the sec-
ond buffer.
• When the "CFM" indicator starts blinking,
indicating that the electrode has been sta-
bilized, press the ALT and CFM keys to
confirm the second calibration point.
• If the buffer is out of the
slope range, "WRONG "
will blink.
• If everything is satisfactory the secondary
LCD will blink "10.01" (if it
previously was "4.01") or
"4.01" (if it previously was
"10.01" or "9.18") expect-
ing the third buffer.
• “10.01” can be changed
to “9.18” by pressing the
CAL key.
Note: if a two point cali-
bration is required,
press the ALT and CAL keys to leave
the calibration mode now.
