• Immerse the temperature probe
in the vessel with hot water.
• When the temperature reading
has stabilized, use the
°C
and
°C
keys to set the reading on
the secondary LCD to the
noted temperature of the hot
water.
• Press CFM key.
The primary LCD
section will show
"390.0 mV".
• Complete your temperature calibra-
tion by pressing the CAL key if
you do not want to perform the mV
calibration mode.
mV CALIBRATION OF HI 931402
Initial Preparation
• Prepare HI 931001 or a simulator that can
provide ±390.0 mV with accuracy of ±0.1mV
and ±1000 mV with accuracy of ±1 mV.
Procedure
• Continue from the tempera-
ture calibration, the primary
LCD section will show
"390.0 mV".
• Select 390.0 mV of the simulator.
• Wait for 3 sec., press the CFM
key. The primary LCD will display
the next reading to be selected on
the simulator.
• Repeat previous two steps for -390.0 mV,
1000 mV and -1000 mV.
• At the end of the mV calibration, the meter
will return to the pH measurement mode.
