PROCEDURE FOR HI 931410
HI 931410 provides three technical pre-pro-
grammed calibration buffers: t1, t2, t3
i.e. pH 7.01, 4.01, 10.01 respectively.
When the ATC probe is not used, make sure the
temperature is set manually to reflect the tem-
perature of the solution (see page 26).
Switch the instrument on after
connecting the pH electrode
and the temperature probe.
ONE POINT CALIBRATION
Immerse the pH electrode and
the temperature probe into a
pH 7.01 buffer solution.
Shake briefly and wait 1-2 min-
utes for thermal equilibrium.
Note: the electrode should be
submerged approximately
4 cm (1½") into the solution.
The temperature probe should
be located as close as pos-
sible to the pH electrode.
Press the CAL key. The symbol "t1" will
appear on the display.
Press the CON key. The buffer value will be
displayed on the right LCD.
Note: the "pH" symbol will be flashing through-
out the calibration procedure.
