BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When the batteries are run
down "LOBAT" is displayed
on the Liquid Crystal Dis-
play to warn the user.
Battery replacement must
only take place in a non
hazardous area using the
battery types specified in
this instruction manual (see
page 42).
In order to replace run down
batteries, simply remove
the two screws on the rear
cover of the instrument and
replace the four 1.5V AA
batteries with new ones,
paying attention to the cor-
rect polarity.
A 12VDC power source can also be used to
power the unit (see the Accessories section
page 41).
Note: The instrument uses the following con-
figuration:
It is recommendable to purchase the Hanna
HI710005 (110VAC) and HI710006 (220VAC)
voltage adapters that use the proper polarity
configuration.
HI931300 and HI 931301 can also be used
with other adapters. In this case, remember
to check the correct polarity of your adapter
before connecting it to the meter.
TO RESET THE METER
In case of any functional problem, reset the
meter by pressing with a pencil the black
button located close to the battery compart-
ment (see the picture above).
