TAKING TEMPERATURE MEASURE-
MENTS
The HI7669/2W temperature probe that is
supplied with HI931300 and HI931301 is a
liquid/general purpose probe.
Taking a temperature measurement with
HI931300 and HI931301 is very easy.
Press the RANGE key to get into the tem-
perature mode. The temperature value and
the "°C" symbol will be displayed on the
primary display.
Make sure the probe is prop-
erly connected to the meter,
and take the measurement (al-
low 1 or 2 minutes for the
temperature to stabilize).
If the temperature probe is
disconnected, the meter as-
sumes that the temperature
of the solution is "25.0 °C"
(default temperature) and the
"°C" symbol blinks.
Note: When taking pH mea-
surements, in order to
have the best accuracy
and proper temperature
compensation, im-
merse the temperature
probe as close as pos-
sible to the pH elec-
trode.
