Operation The mini trooper should be used together with the base station. You need to purchase a base station separately. Step 1 Power-on 1. Insert batteries into the camera - Release the lock catch to open the battery cover of the camera. - Insert four batteries according to the figure below or insert two batteries to power on the camera (For two batteries installation, refer to the appendix). LED Indicator Step 2 Base Station Wi-Fi Setup • Option 1 (Recommended) Wi-Fi Connection via Relay Access 1. Connect to the Wi-Fi of base station - Connect your mobile phone or laptop to Wi-Fi named ezviz_XXXXXX (XXXXXX stands for last six numbers of base station MAC address). - Enter the Wi-Fi password (the default password is last four numbers of Serial Number and Verification Code). - Adjust the antennas according to the pop-up wizard.
• Option 2 Wi-Fi Connection via Wired Router/Network Interface 1. Cable connection - Connect the base station and the uplink router with network cable. 2. Connect to the Wi-Fi of base station - Connect your mobile phone or laptop to Wi-Fi named ezviz_XXXXXX (XXXXXX stands for last six numbers of base station MAC address). - Enter the Wi-Fi password (the default password is last four numbers of Serial Number and Verification Code). - Adjust the antennas according to the pop-up wizard.
2. In the synchronization interface, press the SYNC button on the camera for 6s. 3. Tap Sync button on your phone/laptop. Make sure the camera is close enough to the base station, or the connection between camera and base station may fails.

PIR With the PIR (Passive Infrared), the device detects human body to judge whether anyone breaks in, and starts to record. • Steady Red: The camera is starting. • Slow Blue Flash: The camera starts to synchronize or the device is upgrading. • Fast Blue Flash: The synchronization finished.
