4. Getting Started

4.1. Setup Local Area Connection on Your PC

AP-100 AP/CPE can be connected to your PC in wired mode or in wireless mode. In the following,

wired mode will be introduced. This is because the configurations are similar in wireless mode,

except SSID has to be configured in both AP-100 AP/CPE and PC.

z AP-100 AP/CPE can be connected to your PC directly or by a switch or a hub.

Start Network Configuration on your PC.

For Windows XP user,

1. Click the “Start” menu and choose “Control Panel”.

2. Click “Network Connections”.
