Starting the Phone Program
Phone Status Icons

Start the Phone program by any of the three methods:
Press the • Send key on the device.
Tap • Phone (left soft key) on the Today screen.
Tap •
 Phone.
Whenever you start Phone, the Phone screen displays the soft
keypad. You can tap Hide Keypad (left soft key).
You can use other programs during a call. To quickly switch back to Phone, press the Send key on your device.
Icons will be displayed on the navigation bar to indicate the status of the phone functions. They are listed below.
NOTE: If the phone is currently off, you will be asked to
turn it on.
