Changing the Main Battery Pack

Before changing the battery pack, press the Power key to put the terminal in Suspend Mode so that operations are

suspended before removing the main power source. ALWAYS put the terminal in Suspend Mode prior to

changing the battery.

1. Loosen the handstrap.

2. Remove the battery compartment door by moving

the battery door lock to the left and lifting up the

door through the slots on the sides.

3. Remove the battery by pulling down the

battery pack retainer and lifting the battery out.

Replace the new battery into the battery well

with the battery connectors facing the top.

4. Replace the battery door inserting the bottom first and then push the

top of the door until the lock secures the door.

NOTE: The battery door must be installed prior to booting the unit.

Charging Options

When the battery is installed in the Terminal, you can charge it using the AC

Power Supply shipped with this unit.

Charging Time

The Li-ion battery pack requires five hours to charge to full capacity.
