Pre-Installation PLANNING INSTALLATION Read all instructions before assembly. To avoid damaging this product, assemble it on a soft, non-abrasive surface such as carpet or cardboard. Inspect each part for defects that may have occurred during shipping. Keep your receipt and these instructions for proof of purchase. NOTE: This light fixture requires the use of six 120V, 60Hz, 60-Watt max., candelabra-base type B bulbs (not included). Do not exceed the recommended wattage.

Installation - using power cord 1 4 Unpacking the light fixture □ Carefully unpack the fixture and lay out all parts on a clean surface. □ Adjust the height of the fixture body (A) as desired and attach the chain (E) to the hooks (KK). NOTE: If using power cord follow instructions below. If wiring to an outlet box proceed to hardwired installation instructions. 2 Hanging the chandelier NOTE: Do not attach the cord to the hooks (KK) directly.
Installation - using power cord (continued) 5 6 Installing the bulbs □ Prior to installing the bulbs, inspect sockets for silica packets. If packets are present, then remove and throw away. Do not expose to children or pets. Installing the glass shades □ Screw six glass shades (D) into the cups (B). □ Plug cord into an outlet and turn on the switch (F). □ Install six 120V, 60Hz, 60-Watt max., candelabra-base type B bulbs (not included) into the sockets (C) of the light fixture.
Installation - hardwired 1 3 Unpacking the light fixture □ Carefully unpack the fixture and lay out all parts on a clean surface. □ Split the end of the wires 6 inches from the end. □ Strip the plastic covers off the black and white wires about 1/2 inch from the end. NOTE: If wiring to an outlet box, follow instructions below. If using power cord, return to using power cord instructions. □ Strip the plastic cover off the green wire about 5 inches from the end.
Installation - hardwired (continued) 5 6 Installing the cross bar Connecting the wires □ Install the fixture green ground wire (1) under the ground screw (EE) on the cross bar (BB). DANGER: Ensure the power is off at the main fuse box prior to beginning installation. □ Connect the fixture green ground wire (1) to the green (or bare, or green and yellow) supply ground wire (2) in the outlet box using a wire nut (AA). □ Turn off the switch at the wall. □ Turn the power off at the main fuse box.
Installation - hardwired (continued) 7 8 Hanging the light fixture Installing the bulbs □ Prior to installing the bulbs, inspect sockets for silica packets. If packets are present, then remove and throw away. Do not expose to children or pets. □ Push all excess wires into the outlet box. □ Raise the canopy (GG) to the ceiling and secure in place by screwing the screw collar nut (II) onto the screw collar loop (HH). □ Install six 120V, 60Hz, 60-Watt max.
Installation - hardwired (continued) 9 Installing the glass shades □ Screw six glass shades (D) into the cups (B). □ Restore power and turn on the switch (F).
Care and Cleaning □ Clean the light fixture with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives. Troubleshooting Problem The bulb will not light. The fuse blows or a circuit breaker trips when the light is turned on. Possible Cause □ The bulb is burned out. Solution □ Replace the light bulb. □ The power is off. □ The cord is not plugged in. □ Ensure that the power supply is turned on. □ There is a faulty wire connection. □ Check the wiring.
