o Determine oven opening size (rough-in dimensions) by referring to
the oven manufacturer’s specifications; or measure your oven.
Position the oven so a minimum of 1-1/2" of frame cross rail is left
above and below the oven to retain rigidity of the cabinet frame.
DO NOT cut an opening larger than what will leave the 1-1/2"
  required material available.
o Install the oven cabinet according to Attachment to Wall
  requirements for Tall Cabinets.
o The oven cabinet is manufactured with a minimum opening size of
  24" W x 47 5/8" H. By removing the 1 1/2" wide trim strips (Green)
and cutting the maximum of 2" from the width of each vertical frame
stile (Yellow), the width of the opening can be expanded to 31". By
cutting the maximum from the width of each horizontal cross rail (1
3/4" from the bottom (Red) and 3" from the top (Blue), the height of
the opening can be expanded to 52 3/8".
o Install the oven cabinet according to the Attachment to Wall
  requirements for Tall Cabinets.
Model #
DV3384 (comes with 12" H Bridge cabinet)
DV3390 (comes with 18" H Bridge cabinet)
DV3396* (comes with 23 1/2" H Bridge cabinet)
*96 High DV has a spacer that fits between the oven and bridge cabinet.
The spacer is to be attached to the frame of the oven portion of the
cabinet using screws or pins, and the bridge cabinet will sit on top of
the spacer. The bridge cabinet must be installed to the wall using the
recommended installation screws.
o After cutting the proper opening size, a Support Platform (not
included) will need to be constructed to carry the weight of the
oven once installed. It is recommend that this platform be
composed of 3/4” plywood on top of 2x4 lumber ripped to the proper
thickness to accommodate the lower cross rail height.
o Install the oven according to the oven manufacturer’s specifications.
Certain oven models require a depth of 24” from the face of the
cabinet frame. These installations require the back to be cut out of
  the cabinet.
