1. Remove the fan switch box from the fan assembly by removing one screw and loosening two screws.
2. Remove the center nial from the switch box.
3. Remove the lock washer and hex nut from the top of the light kit. Insert the black and white wires from the light kit
through the center hole of the switch box, thread the switch box onto the light kit. Re-install lock washer and hex nut
and tighten securely.
4. Locate the blue and white wires inside the switch box adaptor for the light kit connection. Connect the blue wire from
the switch box adaptor to the black wire from the light kit and the white wire from the switch box adaptor to the white
wire from the light kit.
5. Re-attach the switch box to the switch box adaptor of the fan assembly by aligning the three screw holes on the switch
box with the screw holes on the switch box adaptor. Secure the screw removed in step 1 and tighten the other two
screws.
For fan without pull chain, please follow steps below:
6. With power off, install the two uorescent bulbs (Max. 14W, supplied) by screwing into the light bulb sockets.
7. Position the glass bowl over the threaded nipple and raise the glass bowl up the bowl cap. Install the outer bowl cap
on the threaded nipple (using the outer bowl cap with center hole only provided in the package). Install the nial
nger tight.
8. Attach the pull chain extension provided to the light switch chain.
For fan with pull chain, please follow steps below:
6. With power off, install the two uorescent bulbs (Max. 14W, supplied) by screwing into the light bulb sockets.
7. Pass the fan switch chain through the hole in the bowl cap of the light kit. Position the glass bowl over the threaded
nipple and raise the glass bowl up to the bowl cap. Pass the fan pull chain through the side hole in the outer bowl cap
and install the outer bowl cap on the threaded nipple. Install the nial nger tight.
CAUTION: Be sure that the fan switch chain does not make contact with the light bulbs. If necessary re-position the
light kit to avoid the fan switch from touching the light bulbs.
8. Attach the pull chain extensions provided to the light switch chain and the fan switch chain.
