Making the electrical connections
□ Feed the electrical connection wires through any knock
out hole. With one person holding the fixture plate, the
second person will make the electrical connections.
□ Connect the hot and neutral (black and white) wires from
the fixture plate (A) to the same color wires from the
electrical box.
□ Connect the green wire from the fixture plate (A) to the
grounding wire from the electrical box.
□ Cover the wire connections using the wire connectors
(AA).
□ Wrap the wire connectors (AA) with electrical tape for a
more secure connection.
□ Position the wires back inside the electrical box.

Mounting the light fixture
□ Align the four keyholes on the fixture plate (A) with the four
mounting screws (CC) in the ceiling.
□ Once the screw heads are through the large openings in
the keyholes, slide the fixture plate (A) to the side until
the heads of the screws slide into the narrow ends of the
keyholes.
□ Finish tightening the mounting screws (CC) until the fixture
plate (A) is tightly secured to the mounting surface.

Attaching the diffuser shade
□ With the help of a second person, position the diffuser shade (B) over the fixture
plate (A).
□ Close the latches on the fixture plate (A) to hold the diffuser shade (B) in place.
□ Restore power at the electrical panel. Turn on the light switch to activate the
fixture.
