Assembly - Attaching the Light Kit Fitter Assembly
Attaching the light kit tter assembly

Remove the four light kit mounting screws (RR) on the
black bracket of the fan-motor assembly (D).
Connect the wires exiting the bottom of the black bracket
with the light kit tter assembly by connecting the molded
adaptor connectors together.
Secure the light kit tter assembly (E) to the black bracket
using the four screws that were removed in the rst step
above.
Attach the pull chain extensions (FF) to the fan pull chains.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect
the electrical supply circuit to the fan before installing the
light xture.

NOTE: Notice the location of the fan’s slide switch. This is the
switch used to change the fan’s directional rotation. For more
information on the operation of this switch, see Operating Your
Fan on page 13.
Attaching the bulbs and glass
bowl

With power off, install the two CFL light bulbs, (14-Watt
maximum included) (J) by screwing into the light bulb
sockets.
Place the glass bowl (I) into the light kit assembly, align-
ing the three at areas on the top ange of the glass bowl
(I) with the three raised dimples in the light kit assembly.
Turn the glass bowl (I) clockwise until it stops.

WARNING: Do not overtighten when installing the glass shade
into the light kit assembly. Allow the glass shade to cool
completely before removing.
Assembly with the light kit frame

Remove one screws (UU) from the light kit tter assembly
(E). Loosen, but not remove the other two screws.
Place the light kit frame into the light kit assembly,
aligning the key hole slots in the light kit frame (K) with
the two screws in the light kit assembly.
Turn the light kit frame clockwise until the two screws are
situated in the narrow end of the keyholes.
Re-install the one screw (UU) that was removed in the rst
step. Tighten all three screws rmly.

NOTE: This light kit cannot be transferred to another fan.
