INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Place Hex Nut (#20) over end of Nipple (#15) and thread Nipple (#15) into Ceiling Loop
(#13) until snug.
2. Place the Hex Nut (#20) and Lock Washer (#19) over the other end of Nipple (#15), thread
the other end of Nipple with ceiling loop into the center hold of Crossbar (#18) until tight.
3. Take the crossbar assembly and mount to ceiling outlet box (#25) with outlet box screws
(#17). Tighten screws securely with scre
wdriver.
4. By measuring determine correct number of links needed for proper hanging height. Use a
pair of pliers to open one end link of the chain (#22) and discard un-wanted chain.
(Don’t disregard the Quick Link included in the parts bag). Attached the chain to Ceiling Loop.

Slip Canopy (#23) and Lock Collar (#24) through over the Ceiling Loop with Chain,
then connect the other end of Chain (#22) to Fixture Loop (#1) by using Quick
Link (#14).
6. Lace the fixture’s wires through the chain links and pull until taut. Feed the fixture wires
through the Lock Collar, Canopy, Ceiling Loop and Nipple, pull fixture wire until taut.
7. Connect the ribbed wire from the fixture to the Neutral wire from the outlet box (#25) and
the smooth wire from
the fixture to the hot wire from the outlet box (#25). Cover the two
wire connections using the two provided wire connectors (#21).
Wrap the two wire
connections with electrical tape for a more secure connection. If your outlet box has
a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect fixture’s ground wire to it using the
wire connector (#21). Otherwise connect the copper ground from the fixture to
Ground screw (#16) on the Crossbar (#18). Note: If you have electrical questions,
consult your local electrical code for approved grounding methods
.
8. Tuck these wire connections neatly into the ceiling outlet box and then raise the canopy all
the way to the ceiling. Raise the Lock Collar and thread onto Ceiling Loop protruding
through Canopy.
9.
Install the proper Light bulb (not included) in accordance with the fixture’s
specifications. (DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING).
10.Installation is complete. Turn on the power at the circuit breaker or fuse box. Turn the light
switch on to activate the fixture
