Making the Electrical Connections 2. (Fig. 18) Motor to receiver electrical connections: Connect the black wire from the fan to black wire marked "TO MOTOR L". Finishing the Fan Installation Standard Ceiling Mounting WARNING LOCKING SLOTS OF CEILING CANOPY ARE PROVIDED ONLY AS AN AID TO MOUNTING. DO NOT LEAVE FAN ASSEMBLY UNATTENDED UNTIL ALL FOUR CANOPY SCREWS ARE ENGAGED AND FIRMLY TIGHTENED. Slide canopy up to the ceiling as shown in Figure 19. Make sure you place the wires safely into the outlet box. Secure the canopy to the hanger bracket with the four screws with your fan. Raise up canopy ring and line up the 4 tabs with the 4 grooves on the canopy.
Attaching the Fan Blades 1. Insert the blade through the blade slot in the decorative housing. Align the holes in blade and blade arm, place the blade support plate on blade as showing in Figure 21, making sure the holes are also aligned and secure with fiber washers and screws provided. 2. Attaching the Mounting Plate 1. Remove 1 of 3 screws from the mounting ring and loosen the other 2 screws. (Do not remove) 2. Place the key holes on the mounting plate over the 2 screws previously loosened from the mounting ring, turn mounting plate until it locks in place at the narrow section of the key holes. Secure by tightening the 2 screws previously loosened and the one previously removed. (Fig.
Installing the Light Kit CAUTION SHUT OFF THE POWER SUPPLY BEFORE REMOVING OR REPLACING LAMP. IN HANDLING OF HALOGEN BULB, CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN NOT TO TOUCH IT WITH YOUR BARE HANDS. OIL RESIDUE WILL SHORTEN THE LIFE OF THE HALOGEN BULB. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY COME INTO CONTACT, WIPE THOROUGHLY WITH A CLEAN, LINT-FREE, COTTON CLOTH. ALLOW THE BULB TO COOL OFF FOR 10 MINUTES BEFORE CHANGING THE BULB. USE LIGHT BULB IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FAN'S SPECIFICATION.
Operating Your Transmitter Installing the Battery: Restore power to the ceiling fan and test for proper operation.
