Remove the two mounting screws and lock washers from
one side of the hanger bracket (A). Then remove the other
mounting screw and lock washer from one side of the
mounting bar (I) on the motor assembly (B). Place motor
assembly (B) onto the hanger bracket (A) by inserting the
notch of the mounting bar (I) into the square slot of the
hanger bracket (A).
With the notch engaged into the square slot, the motor unit
is now hanging beneath the hanger bracket. This allows for
hands-free wiring.

Connect the ground conductor of the 120V supply (this may
be a bare wire or a wire with green colored insulation) to the
green ground lead(s) of the fan.
Connect the fan motor white wire to the supply white
(neutral) wire using a wire nut.
Connect the fan motor black wire and light kit blue wire to
the supply black (hot) wire using a wire nut.
Turn wire nut connections upward, spreading them apart so
the green (ground) will be on one side of the outlet box and
the white, black and blue wires will be on the other side, and
push carefully up into the outlet box.
