RHYTHM & EASY PLAY

♦ AUTO VARI RHYTHMS & STYLES

Hammond’s AUTO VARI is an exciting feature which complements a wide variety of musical styles

and adds realism and fun to your playing. All of the sounds and rhythms are created from digital

sound sources, thereby giving authenticity to the rhythm patterns.

There are 100 AUTO VARI Rhythms & Styles arranged in 16 rhythm categories controlled by two

rows of eight Touch Tabs.

To activate one of the 16 Rhythm categories, simply touch the single Touch Tab of the rhythm

that you wish to use.

NOTE: One of these Touch Tabs is always “ON” (red LED lit).

If you press another basic pattern after starting the Rhythm, first the remaining section of the

previous basic pattern will be played, and then the newly selected pattern will play.

Rhythm Categories

Each of the 16 Rhythm Touch Tabs controls several different Rhythms & Styles. These Rhythms

& Styles represent different types of music within a general musical classification such as

Country, Traditional, etc. You can use the Information Center Display to choose the specific

rhythm you want within each category.

Accessing the Rhythm Styles

1. Touch and hold the Touch Tab which represents the rhythm category you want

(SWING, LATINS, etc.). The Information Center Display will show the selected

category at the top of the screen. Below the Rhythm Category name, the

Information Center Display will show a number of different rhythm names. For

example, if you touch and hold the WALTZ Touch Tab, you would see 8 rhythm

styles listed:
