MIXER Mode - Page 2
From MIXER Mode Page 1, touch the PART Select Touch Button once to display Page 2 of the
MIXER Mode. It will show:
1. A graphic picture showing the current Voice selection for the individual parts
of PRO CHORD, SOUND EFFECT, MANUAL DRUM and METRONOME.
2. Volume settings for the following: PRO CHORD Melody and Harmony voices,
SOUND EFFECT, MANUAL DRUM and METRONOME.
Use the top row of numbered Select Touch Buttons (Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8) to
increase the volume of the designated Voice group.
Use the bottom row of numbered Select Touch Buttons (Numbers 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and
16) to decrease the volume of the designated Voice group.
NOTE: PRO CHORD, SOUND EFFECT and MANUAL DRUM are explained in more detail under
SPECIAL PERFORMANCE FEATURES starting on page 100.

From MIXER Mode Page 2, touch the PART Select Touch Button once to display Page 3 of the
MIXER Mode. It will show:
1. A graphic picture showing the current Voice selection for Part 1 through 8.
2. Volume settings for Parts 1 through 8.
Use the top row of numbered Select Touch Buttons (Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8) to
increase the volume of the designated Part.
Use the bottom row of numbered Select Touch Buttons (Numbers 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and
16) to decrease the volume of the designated Part.
NOTE: “PARTS” are used for playing MIDI song files using the Disk Drive or CompactFlash features of
your XE-1. This is explained in more detail starting on page 128.
