3. Safety instructions
• Protect the product from dirt, moistureand overheating and use it in dry environments only.
• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
• Do not operate the product outside the power limits specied in the technical data.
• Do not use the product in areas in which electronic products arenot permitted.
• Ensurethat the product is not covered up by textiles, metal or other objects in order to avoid damage
caused by overheating.
• Dispose of packaging material immediately in accordance with the locally applicable regulations.
• Do not modify the product in any way.Doing so voids the warranty.
• Do not continue to operate the product if it is visibly damaged.
• Use the product only for the intended purpose.
• Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters, other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
• Only use the article under moderate climatic conditions.
• As with allelectrical products, this device should be kept out of the reach of children.
• Do not use the product in adamp environment and avoid splashing water.
• Do not bend or crush the cable.
• Never apply force when using the product or during installation.
• Take carethat components such as airbags, safety areas, controls, instruments, etc. and visibility arenot
blocked or restricted.
• Ensurethat the product is securely mounted beforeevery journey.
• Do not allow yourself to be distracted by the product when driving avehicle. Always pay attention to the
surrounding tracand your environment.
• Always pull directly on the plug when disconnecting the cable, never on the cable itself.
Warning
Do not place any bank or similar cards with magnetic strips or magnetically sensitive objects on the
product. The data on the cards could be damaged or completely deleted

Ensurethat thereare no metal parts (e.g. metal plate for magnetic holders) on the back of your device.
Metal heats up signicantly in the eld of an induction charger and can damage your device and/or the
charger.
Risk of electric shock
• Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
• Do not use the product if the charging cable, adapter cable or power cable is damaged.
• Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself.Leave any and all service work to qualied
experts.
4. Start-up and operation
Warning
• Only operate the product from asocket that has been approved for the device. The socket must be
installed close to the product and must be easily accessible.
• Disconnect the product from the power supply using the On/Off switch –ifthis is not available, unplug
the power cordfromthe socket.
• If using amulti-socket power strip, make surethat the total power consumption of all connected devices
does not exceed the power strip’smaximum throughput rating.
• If you will not be using the product for aprolonged period, disconnect it from mains power.
