LIMITED WARRANTY
The Halex Company, Division of Scott Fetzer Company, warrants its products to be free from defects in
material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. If any product is found to be defective,
it may be replaced, repaired or refunded at the sole option of HALEX, when returned with proof of
purchase to HALEX's facility in Hamilton, Indiana. The purchaser shall pay all transportation and shipping
charges associated with the return of said product and the returned product shall become the property of
HALEX. If HALEX determines not to replace or repair, HALEX shall, at its sole discretion, refund the
purchase price.
THERE ARE NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON
ANY HALEX PRODUCT AND ANY SUCH WARRANTIES ARE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMED. Some states do not
allow limitation on implied warranties, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
In no instance shall HALEX be responsible to repair or replace a product under this Limited Warranty where
said product was improperly installed, altered or misused, including using the product contrary to HALEX's
printed instructions or instructions stamped on the product itself.
The foregoing states the sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty or for any other claim based
on defects in, or nonperformance of, the products, whether sounding in contract, warranty or negligence.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, HALEX shall under no circumstances be liable for any
incidental or consequential loss or damage whatsoever arising out of, or in any way relating to any such
breach of warranty or claimed defect in, or nonperformance of, the products.
This LIMITED WARRANTY is designed to fully comply with the terms and provision of the Magnuson-Moss
Warrant Act. Some states may not allow the limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential
damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific
legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
