ENGLISH CONTROLS Appearance may vary by model. Controls NOTE: When the bucket is full or removed, the controls cannot be set. 1. Power Pad Press to turn the dehumidifier on and off. ENGLISH INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS NOTE: Before plugging in the dehumidifier, remove the casters from the bucket and install as shown below. Installing the Casters (only for QDHR20 and QDHR35) 1. Remove the 4 casters from the bag taped to the inside of the water bucket lid. 2. Carefully lay the dehumidifier down on it’s front or back on a padded surface to prevent damage to unit. 3. Push the casters into the holes on the base of the unit until they lock in place. 4.
ENGLISH USING THE DEHUMIDIFIER When first using the dehumidifier, operate the unit continuously for 24 hours. How the Dehumidifier Operates Moist, humid air is drawn over a cold refrigerated dehumidifying coil. Moisture in the air condenses on this coil and drains into a bucket (or through a hose and drain). Dry, clean air is drawn through the condenser where it is heated and discharged out the top grille into the room.
ENGLISH USING THE DEHUMIDIFIER Always make sure the water bucket is locked into place on the dehumidifier. Removing Collected Water There are 2 ways to remove collected water: Use the bucket. When the bucket is removed, the unit will shut off. Empty and replace the bucket. Use a hose. Water can be automatically emptied into a floor drain by attaching a garden water hose (not included). 1. Remove the bucket from the front of the unit. 2. Open the drain cover on the side of the unit.
ENGLISH CARE AND CLEANING Turn off the dehumidifier and remove the plug from the wall outlet before cleaning. Grille and Case To clean the case: To clean the rear grille: Use water and a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or abrasives. Use a vacuum attachment or brush. Water Bucket To clean: Every few weeks, clean the bucket to prevent growth of mold, mildew and bacteria. Partially fill the bucket with clean water and add a little mild detergent. Swish it around in the bucket, empty and rinse.
ENGLISH TROUBLESHOOTING Save time and money! Review the charts on the following pages first and you may not need to call for service. Problem Possible Cause What To Do Dehumidifier does not start The dehumidifier is unplugged. Makes sure the dehumidifier’s plug is pushed completely into the outlet. The fuse is blown/circuit breaker is tripped. Check the house fuse/circuit breaker box and replace the fuse or reset the breaker. Dehumidifier has reached its set humidity level or bucket is full.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS REMARQUE : Avant de débrancher le déshumidificateur, retirer les roulettes du bas et installez-les comme montré ci-dessous. Installation des roulettes (pour QDHR20 et QDHR35 seulement) 1. Retirez les 4 roulettes du sac enrubanné à l’intérieur du couvercle du bac. 2. Déposez délicatement le déshumidificateur sur le devant ou l’arrière sur une surface coussinée pour éviter d’endommager l’appareil. 3.
UTILISATION DU DÉSHUMIDIFICATEUR Lors de la première utilisation du déshumidificateur, faites fonctionner l’unité en continu pendant 24 heures. Comment fonctionne le déshumidificateur L’humidité de l’air est aspirée et dirigée vers un serpentin déshumidificateur réfrigéré. L’humidité de l’air se condense sur ce serpentin et se vide dans un bac (par un boyau et un drain). Il est normal que l’air environnant devienne légèrement plus chaud pendant que le déshumidificateur fonctionne.
UTILISATION DU DÉSHUMIDIFICATEUR Assurez-vous toujours que le bac à eau est fermement installé dans le déshumidificateur. Vidange de l’eau recueillie Il y a 2 façons de retirer l’eau recueillie : Utilisation du bac. L’appareil s’éteindra dès que le bac est retiré. Videz le bac et réinstallez-le dans l’appareil. Utilisation d’un boyau. L’eau peut se vider automatiquement vers le siphon de sol lorsque qu’un boyau d’arrosage (non fourni) y est raccordé. 1. Retirez le bac par le devant de l’appareil.
ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE Éteignez le déshumidificateur et débranchez la fiche de la prise murale avant le nettoyage. Grille et boitier Nettoyage du boitier : Utilisez de l’eau et un détergent doux. N’utilisez pas de javellisant ni de produits abrasifs. Nettoyage de la grille arrière : Utilisez un accessoire d’aspirateur ou une brosse. Bas à eau Nettoyage : Toutes les quelques semaines, nettoyez le seau pour éviter le développement de moisissures et de bactéries.

CÓMO USAR EL DESHUMEDIFICADOR Cuando se disponga a usar el deshumedificador por primera vez, permita que la unidad opere de manera continua por 24 horas. Rejilla y gabinete Para limpiar el gabinete: Use agua y un detergente de baja concentración. No use blanqueador ni limpiadores abrasivos. Para limpiar la rejilla trasera: Use una aspiradora con accesorio de cepillo suave o un cepillo de mano. Tanque de agua Para limpiar: Después de algunas semanas, limpie el tanque para evitar la formación de moho, mildiú y bacterias.
