flammable items away from the cooktop. Turn off all controls when done cooking. Failure to follow these
instructions can result in fire, serious injury or death.
At both OFF and HI the control clicks into position. You may hear
slight clicking sounds during cooking, indicating the control is
maintaining your desired setting.
Be sure you turn the control knob to OFF when you finish cooking.
Coil Cooktops
Each coil surface unit uses "SENSI-TEMP TECHNOLOGY"
to reduce the risk of cooktop oil and grease fires. This
feature is located in the center of each surface unit. Power
to the surface unit is temporarily interrupted when a pot or
pan exceeds expected cooking temperatures. Even after
the surface units are turned off, the surface unit retains
enough heat to continue cooking. To avoid overcooking,
remove pans from the surface units when the food is
cooked. Avoid placing anything on the surface unit until it
has cooled completely.
