Defrostwheneverthe frost becomes1/4" thicL Never usea sharp or
metallic instrumentto removethefrost, as it may damage the cooling

Turn the temperature control to OFF position and unplug the unit.
Remove the drain plug from the inside of the freezer (see fig. #3a}.
Defrosting usually takes a few hours. To defrost faster keep the
freezer door open,
For draining, place a tray beneaththe outer drain plug. Pullout the
drain dial (seefig. #3b} and rotateit so that thearrow pointsdown-
ward. ThiswiJJJetthewater flow out in the tray.When done, push the
drain dial in and turn the arrow to the up position.Re-pbg the drain
plug insidethe freezer compartmenLNote: monitor the containerunder
the drain to avoid overflow.
®Wipe theinterior of the freezerand replace theelectrical plug in
the electricaloufleL
Resetthe temperature control to the desired setting,
