Ethernet Connection
PleasefollowtheinstructionsbelowtocompleteIPDomeCamerainstallation.
RJ-45 Dongle Cable Connection
RunanEthernetcablethroughtheWaterproofRJ45Screw-OnPlug.ThenconnectoneendoftheEthernetcabletotheRJ45dongle,
tighteningthesealingnutoftheWaterproofRJ45Screw-OnPlugcompletely.
ConnecttheotherendoftheEthernetcabletoaPowerSourcingEquipment(PSE)device,suchasaPoEnetworkswitch,hub,or
powerinjectorwhichprovidesthepower.
IP Dome Camera Login
ForinitialaccesstotheIPDomeCamera,youcansearchforandcongurethecamerausingtheinstaller
program:DeviceSearch.exe,whichcanbefoundin"DeviceSearch"folderonthesuppliedCD.Foradditional
informationabouttheDeviceSearchutility,refertothecamera’susermanual(DocumentNumber:68R11-1)
whichcanbefoundonthesuppliedCDoratwww.leviton.com.
OtherwiseyoucanconnecttoandconguretheIPDomeCamerafromaPCusingitsdefaultIPaddress.
TheIPDomeCamera’sdefaultIPaddressis:192.168.0.103.Therefore,toaccesstheIPDomeCamerafor
thersttime,setthePC’sIPaddressas:192.168.0.XXX;forexample:
IPAddress:192.168.0.100
SubnetMask:255.255.255.0
Login ID & Password
• EntertheIPaddressoftheIPDomeCameraintheAddressbarofthebrowserwindowandpress"Enter".
• Enterthedefaultusername(Admin)andpassword(1234)inthedialog.Notethatusernameiscase
sensitive.
Before Login to the IP Dome Camera
AclientprogramwillautomaticallybeinstalledonyourPCwhenconnectingtotheIPDomeCamera.BeforeaccessingtheIPDomeCamera,pleaseensurethattheActiveXcontrol
canbedownloadedbychangingthebrowser’ssecurityleveltodefault.Forfurtherdetails,pleaserefertotheIPDomeCamera’susermanual.
Step 1: StarttheInternetExplorer(IE).
Step 2: Select<Tools>fromthemainmenuofthebrowser.
ThenClick<InternetOptions>.
Step 3: Clickthe<Security>tabandselect“Internet”,andclick
<Customlevel>tochangeActiveXsettings.
Step 4: Set“ActiveXcontrolsandplug-ins”itemsto<Prompt>
or<Enable>.
Step 1: StarttheIE.
Step 2: Select<Tools>fromthemainmenuofthebrowser.
ThenClick<InternetOptions>.
Step 3: Clickthe<Security>tabandselect“Internet.”
Step 4: Downthepage,press“DefaultLevel”andclick“OK”to
conrmthesetting.Closethebrowserwindow,andopen
anewonelaterforaccessingtheIPDomeCamera
