Handling Instructions
Always deposit the handpiece with the
top downwards. Therefore you can
avoid liquid from entering the hand-
piece.
Never soak the complete handpiece.
Also never oil it. Clean the hanpdiece
with a dampened cloth. Make sure, that
no liquid will enter the handpiece during
this procedure.
Never clamp wet tools or burs in the
handpiece. Otherwise it could cause
damages to the internal parts.
The materials assembled through
hadewe will not rust. In case there is
some rust at the assembled parts, it will
come from other than hadewe parts.
Even high- grade steel can show evi-
dence of formation of rust. This might
have caused misuse of chemical disin-
fectant.
Therefore always remove the tools from
the handpiece after each treatment.
Pay attention not to drop your hand-
piece. The motor or ball bearings might
be damaged. Always use tools, which
are not bent, worn out or are somehow
damaged. Also never use rusted tools.
Using damaged tools causes extra
vibration of the handpiece. This could
result in damage or distribution of the
ball bearings, the chuck or / and the
motor.
Working with too high pressure does
not improve the performance as the
motor is slowed down. A further disad-
vantage is more wear and tear of the
motor and the bearings.
