Storage
Place the electrode in the storage protec-
tor with KCl + glycerine.
Life of an electrode
The average life expectancy of a pH proc-
ess electrode oscillates between 6 or 12
months, depending on the working con-
ditions.
Electrodes exposed to high temperatures
do not last as long. Very alkaline mediums
also reduces the life span of electrodes.
If an electrode has too short life span,
less than three months, ask us about it.
Probably there is a more suitable elec-
trode for the application.

Limitations
Solutions with pH < 2, very clean water,
distilled and de-mineralised water.
Temperature > 80ºC. Pressure > 2 bar.

The attached electrode 53 37 T has
passed the quality test and follows the
next specifications:
• Asymmetry potential < ± 15 mV.
• Sensitivity, pH 4 to 7 (at 25 ˚C) > 98%.
• Response time, pH 4 to 7 < 20 s.
• Temperature error
0.5 ºC.
