Place the electrode in the storage protector
with KCl 3M.
Life of an electrode
The average life expectancy of a pH process
electrode oscillates between 6 or 12 months,
depending on the working conditions.
Electrodes exposed to high temperatures do
not last as long. Very alkaline mediums also
reduces the life span of electrodes.
If an electrode has too short life span,
less than three months, ask us about it.
Probably there is a more suitable elec-
trode for the application.

The attached electrode 53 34 T has passed
the quality test and follows the next speci-
fi cations:
• Asymmetry potential < ± 15 mV.
• Sensitivity, pH 4 to 7 (at 25 ˚C) > 98%.
• Response time, pH 4 to 7 < 20 s.
• Temperature error
0.5 ºC.
