see sweating on the surface of the Resting Mat and
steam being emitted from the bottom of the SV-60.
12) Place an Ultra-MicroFiber Pad on the floor with the
hook and loop side facing up and the microfiber
side down. Once the SV-60 has heated up, lift it
off the Resting Mat and place it on top of the
Ultra-Micro-Fiber™ Pad. (Fig 11)
13) Move the SV-60 over the floor in a back and forth
motion sanitizing your floor with steam. The
super-absorbent pad soaks up the moisture
leaving your floors dry to the touch. (Fig 12)

Helpful Hints:
To use the Pad Tray and Ultra-MicroFiber™ Pad
most effectively:
•BesuretoalignthePadTrayonthebaseofthe
unit with the center of the Ultra-MicroFiber™ pad
when affixing the pad. Notice the blue center strip
on the attachment side of the pad; this strip should
line up with the opening for the steam jets. (Fig 13)
•Besurenottoblockthesuction/agitatorbrush
opening. Blocking the opening could result in the
weakening of suction. (Fig 14)
•Forinitialsteamgeneration,placetheunitonthe
Resting Mat before attaching the Ultra-MicroFiber™
Pad. During initial heating cycle the heated water
may cause condensation which could soak your pad.
Once the unit has built-up the steam needed to
effectively sanitize, place the unit on a dry pad to
absorb the moisture as you use it to clean the floor.
•Afterafxingthecleaningpad,makesuretoplace
the SV-60 on the floor protector pad between uses,
or while cooling, to protect your floor. Never leave
the Steam Vacuum in one spot on any surface for
any period of time.
•Pushandpulltheunitslowly across the floor to
thoroughly clean each section.
•DONOTplacetoomuchforceonthepolewhen
pushing the unit, whether on the carpet or hard
surfaces. The SV-60 will glide across your floor
more easily if you lower the angle of your pole.
