Malfunction
If it can be assumed that a safe operation of the device is no longer possible
the device should immediately be disconnected, removed and secured against
unintentional use. This case is applicable if:
– The device shows any signs of damage.
– The device is no longer functional.
– Parts of the device have become loose.
– The connecting wires show signs of damage.
If the device needs to be repaired, only the original spare parts may be used.
The use of other components or components with different values can cause
damages and be hazardous. Repairs may only be done by a trained
specialist!
2. DESIGNATED USE
The device can switch a connected unit (max. 230V~/50Hz, max. 6 A,
1000 VA) based on temperature control on or off. The ON-OFF temperature
can be freely adjusted between –55°C to +125°C by increments of 1°C.
A red LED indicates „heating“, a yellow „cooling, a further illuminates when the
relay is switched. Any other use as defined is not allowed.
3. FUNCTION
The new universal temperature controller (thermometer) is ideal for all
applications where a temperature control for heating or cooling is needed. The
external, plug-in temperature sensor measures temperature ranges from –55 to
+125.0°C. The switching temperature is set at 1°C increments. 12.7 mm wide
LEDs indicate the ON and OFF switching temperature, the current temperature
and the min./max. value. A red LED indicates „heating, a yellow „cooling.
Another LED illuminates when the relay is switched. The electronic thermostat
is not only easy to use, but also safe. A defective sensor, a breach on the
cable or a short circuited sensor is immediately detected. The device can be
used independently and also serve as a replacement for defective mechanical
thermostats and digital thermometers.
